John continually works to increase his knowledge to become the expert in with cruise lines, resorts, destinations and land tour vendors. Most of these suppliers/tourist boards require annual certification to ensure that the expert is continually kept up to date with all the changes. John makes it a point attend educational seminars, conferences, conventions and online supplier presentations. In addition to these learning opportunities, John attend Familiarization (FAM) trips where he can enhance his knowledge of the destination/supplier products firsthand. This allows him to share with his clients his experience and better paint the picture for his clients. Currently, he holds the following certifications and designations:
